2-Term Pathway - Foundation Certificate for Business, Law and Social Sciences - Continue to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Economics

If students have finished high school but don’t meet the entry requirements for university, a Foundation Certificate can help them gain entry to an undergraduate degree.

Students can improve knowledge of global markets and economic theory, and sharpen their decision-making skills – an Economics degree at Nottingham Business School is their gateway to a career in financial services, and a wide range of other opportunities.

Students will study the key concepts of modern economics, learning how these principles are applied by individuals, businesses and governments. They’ll work with professionals and industry experts and test their knowledge in a range of real-world business environments. Economics students have access to NTU's unique Business Lab facility. With 12 double-screen workstations, the room gives students a simulated experience of working in the fast-moving world of shares and trading. Students can access sophisticated analysis tools and data on worldwide financial markets.
