4-Term Pathway - Foundation Certificate for Art, Design and Media - Continue to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - English and Media

If students have finished high school but don’t meet the entry requirements for university, a Foundation Certificate can help them gain entry to an undergraduate degree.  

English and Media allows students to develop skills and knowledge in the creative arts and apply them in practical and vocational settings. Taught by award-winning and internationally recognized academics, this course will develop the students talents and strengths. It combines literary studies with an exciting mixture of theoretical and practical approaches to the study of media, allowing them to pursue their passion for the written word and the rapidly changing and dynamic media field.

Students will develop advanced skills in the critical analysis of literature from the Renaissance period to the 21st Century as well as media texts, audiences and institutions. They’ll also be encouraged to learn practical media and production skills.
