About Pre-sessional English for Academic Purposes (PEAP)
PEAP is designed to develop the academic English language and study skills needed to study at Nottingham Trent University. For international students needing help achieving their language requirements, it's the best preparation for studying at the Nottingham Trent University.
- PEAP courses range from 6 weeks to 20 weeks.
- The length of course depends on students' current language ability, the language level they need to achieve, and the availability of the courses.
- Each course has entry requirements, so students can see which course is right for them and how many weeks they'll be asked to study to reach the required standard of English.
- If students have applied for an undergraduate or postgraduate course, they'll be required to reach a specific grade at the end of their PEAP course before they can progress to the degree course.
- Students can apply for a PEAP course even if they are not going to continue their studies in an undergraduate or postgraduate course.
The tuition fee for the PEAP will vary based on the length of study required:
- 15 weeks - Course Fee: £4,900
- 10 weeks - Course Fee: £3,250.
- 6 weeks - Course Fee: £1,950
