Bachelor of Science - Engineering Education

Program Description

The engineering education major is the first of its kind in Ohio and one of the first in the nation. The program will prepare students to become a licensed secondary math teacher with a specialized engineering perspective. Students will receive a solid foundation in engineering, mathematics and education. They'll take core engineering courses and then broaden their engineering knowledge through eight technical electives in their areas of interest.

This academic program is rigorous. Students should expect to work hard and be challenged. But there’s no need to stress, because it offers a supportive and collaborative environment. The professors and fellow engineering students will become friends and family. They will help students succeed and open doors for them.

Upon graduation, students will become ambassadors for the engineering profession – ready to have a positive impact on young people and to change the world!
