Program Description

Students can embark on a journey of scientific discovery at the Raabe College of Pharmacy. Since 1884, they have been helping to solve health problems and cure disease. They are nationally known for the rigor and quality of their academics, and their bachelor’s degree program builds upon their recognized expertise in pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences.

Through the program, students will receive a solid foundation in the liberal arts as well as the pharmaceutical and life sciences. They’ll be able to delve deeply into subjects that interest them, such as immunology, genetics, molecular biology, and data science, and communicate effectively with their peers and collaborators.

Starting their first year, students will begin laboratory training, and throughout their four years at ONU students will spend extensive time conducting experiments. Students' research training with outstanding ONU professors may lead to presenting data at scientific conferences or co-authoring papers. Students will also intern for an entire semester with a pharmaceutical or biomedical company.
