Ohio Wesleyan University offers an uncommonly wide range of options for the study of biology, because it is one of only a few small colleges with two closely integrated life science departments: Botany & Microbiology and Zoology. This structure allows their program to offer a larger diversity of specialty courses in sub-disciplines across the biological sciences than do many other schools of their size.
Students who meet all of the requirements for the Combined Bachelor’s/Professional Degrees, as set forth in the Catalog, may transfer to an engineering school at the end of their third year for two or more years of study. Upon successful completion of the engineering school program, the student will receive a B.A. degree in zoology from Ohio Wesleyan University and a bachelor of engineering degree from the engineering school.
