Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Fine Arts - Theatre

Dedicated and approachable faculty, a close-knit and diverse student community, and a commitment to helping students reach their professional goals sets PLU Theatre & Dance apart from other programs. Theatre majors will have opportunities in acting, musical theatre, directing, design, technology, stage management, playwriting, improvisation, and more! PLU's Theatre program has a student-centered and active production program, producing up to 10 shows every academic year: about half directed by students. PLU brings in professional guest artists annually to provide workshops and master classes, and to forge valuable connections. With internship and other professional opportunities, along with courses to help students learn about the profession and develop a strong portfolio, graduates will be well-prepared to enter a theatre profession or get into graduate school.
