Research Laboratory Work

Choose from a wide range of research laboratories across the Queens College campus, from Biology and Psychology to Chemistry and Biochemistry. Research counts for course credit as long as it is conducted with an approved mentor through an independent study or the Honors in Mathematics & Natural Science program.

One of the most exciting parts of the research experience is students sharing their findings at local and national conferences. Students and mentors often share their work together at these events.

Students enrolled in the Neuroscience degree program can find ample support for their postgraduate aspirations. Queens College’s Health Professions Advisory Services helps students planning to apply to health profession schools: dentistry, medicine, optometry, pharmacy, podiatry and veterinary medicine.

Queens College’s accelerated MA option allows undergraduate students to take graduate courses as electives during their senior year.
