Master of Science - Sports Journalism

A sports journalist is on top of the action. Students who want to study this exciting field, Quinnipiac is the place to do it. Between the nationally ranked Division I teams and the proximity to ESPN in Bristol, Connecticut, and a variety of sports networks in New York City and Boston, they will have endless opportunities to sharpen their skills and immerse themselves in the industry. 

Quinnipiac University will provide students the journalistic foundation to cover not only what’s happening on the field, but to dig deeper to uncover the financial, health and ethical issues facing the world of sports today. They will build websites, write scripts and shoot, and edit and produce video using the latest equipment in high-definition studio and the HD and Ultra HD (4K) editing suites. Students learn from current and former professionals and join an alumni network that spans the nation.
