About Bachelor of Arts - Latin American and Caribbean Studies
As Latin American and Caribbean studies majors at Rollins College, students will immerse themselves in the diverse cultures, history, languages, natural environment, and political economy of Latin America and the Caribbean and confront the challenges facing this critical region in the 21st century.
Through the interdisciplinary curriculum and hands-on experience in the field, students will explore the forces that have shaped Latin America and the Caribbean, learn to think critically about the region and its place in the world, and achieve competence in Spanish, Portuguese, or French. With the personalized support of the expert faculty, students will develop a unique expertise on a region with ever-increasing economic and geopolitical significance.
A springboard for careers in everything from business to government, this program is dedicated to developing culturally sensitive, responsible leaders committed to enacting positive social change.
