About Presessional English Language Preparation (StudyGroup)
Taking part in one of the Pre-sessional English languages programmes can help students prepare and gain skills for their course at university in the UK. The on campus courses follow an approach where students will be taught face to face as well undertaking some work online.
This course is aimed at students holding a conditional offer who need to improve their academic English and study skills before they start their degree programme.
By the end of the Pre-sessional English Language course, students should have:
- Improved their English.
- Developed strategies for learning on their own.
- Become familiar with the virtual learning environment - Moodle.
- Gained a better understanding of the key skills and language they need to study successfully at university.
