The Bachelor of Science (Chemistry) (Honours) students, on graduating from will have achieved the following Program Learning Outcomes:

Inquiry and problem solving:
- be able to concisely state research questions, and use them to design and plan a research project.
- be able to gather, critically review and synthesise information relevant to a scientific inquiry or research project.
- be able to choose appropriate tools and methods to solve scientific problems within their area of specialization.
- demonstrate well-developed problem solving skills, applying students' knowledge and using their ability to think analytically and creatively.
- possess an ability to accurately record, analyse, interpret and critically evaluate their research findings.
