In today’s rapidly evolving and expanding digital environment, the need for experts with advanced skills to fight against and protect from cyber attacks continues to grow. The cybersecurity courses offered in our master’s degree program will provide them with increased levels of proficiency in products and applications, the skills to build secure and dependable systems, the opportunity to conduct hands-on cybersecurity research, and so much more.

Sacred Heart University has been designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) for the Master of Science in cybersecurity program. SHU is the first in the state of Connecticut to receive this designation.
Graduating with a master’s degree in cybersecurity from a CAE-CD designated university gives potential employers a high degree of confidence in hiring its graduates as their degree curriculum closely aligns with NSA-recommended cybersecurity-related knowledge units (KUs), validated by subject matter experts in the field.
