About Associate of Science - Transfer Degree - Chemistry
This two-year Associate of Science - Transfer Degree - Chemistry pathway is designed for students who wish to complete an Associate of Science - Track 1 with a concentration in Chemistry. Students in this pathway learn about matter and energy down to the molecular level. Courses build a solid foundation in general chemistry and develop their understanding of the scientific method of experimentation, observation, and analysis of results. They will also gain hands-on experience in the lab.
Completion of this program opens doors to a variety of academic, industry, and medical careers in research & development, manufacturing, and more across the public and private sectors. It also allows students to transfer into a chemistry or related major at a four-year college or university, or to a Bachelor of Applies Science (BAS) at one of the Seattle Colleges.
