Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours) - Data Engineering (PBCPDE) (Optional Co-op)

In Sheridan's Honours Bachelor of Computer Science program, students will learn foundational skills that prepare them to work in any area of computer science. But they’ll also have the chance to specialize in an emerging field that interests them the most.

Students will begin with the basics in their first year, learning about computer programming, networks, mathematics, scripting and database modelling. More than 80% of the Computer Science degree curriculum consists of core courses designed to develop fundamental skills that will prepare students to work in all areas of computer science, both now and in the future.

In Data Engineering, students will gain the knowledge and skills needed to design, implement and maintain systems that collect, pre-process, store, analyze and prepare large amounts of data.
