About 2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Programme - Business and Management - continue to Bachelor of Science - Business Management with Finance (Honours)
The International Foundation Programme at Solent University is designed specifically to support students in the transition from an overseas High School education, to undergraduate study in the UK. Alongside language development units, students will also build their confidence and independence, developing their study skills. The inclusion of subject-specific pathways prepare students for their chosen subject area, enabling them to familiarise themselves with some of the theories and terminology that they can expect to encounter at undergraduate level.
This particular pathway develops students knowledge and skills in business and management, with a particular focus on external business pressures and management theory.
Dual accredited with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the degree also enables students to add a professional leadership and management award (level 5) to your CV when they graduate.
Learn to analyse future trends and identify the impacts of economic changes on capital markets and borrowing, and build a comprehensive understanding of the workings of national and international capital markets.
Students will explore financial language and theory, develop enquiry, analysis, evaluation and communication skills, and learn to offer practical, sustainable and ethical solutions to challenging real-world problems.
