About Bachelor of Science - Business Administration - Business Economics
The concentration in business economics focuses on the best ways to get the most benefit from scarce resources. It covers firms and organizations (microeconomics) and nations (macroeconomics).
The concentration provides the conceptual basis for integrating knowledge of the functional areas of business administration in industry, government, and nonprofit organizations. By doing so, it opens the way not only toward teaching, research, and consulting, but also toward graduate study in business, government and law.
Learning outcome:
- Students will develop an understanding of the unique perspective of economics.
- Students will develop a basic proficiency in using the theories and tools of economics.
- Students will develop appropriate analytical and quantitative skills.
- Students will develop effective communication skills appropriate to the discipline.
