One of the first SUNY programs to be accredited by the American Chemical Society (ACS), Oswego often leads all SUNY colleges in the number of ACS-accredited majors graduating per year, and frequently ranks nationally.

Graduates of SUNY Oswego’s chemistry programs have gone on to study at prestigious graduate schools, and have received national recognition as chemists, researchers, and educators.
