Vocational Pathway: Certificate III in Fitness (092403G) + Certificate IV in Fitness (092404G) - Meadowbank

TAFE NSW's Certificate III in Fitness (Gym Instructor) gives students the skills and knowledge they need to become a gym or group exercise instructor in the growing global sports and fitness sector. 

Students will start with the essential principles of anatomy and physiology and learn how to provide quality care and service, maintain their equipment and adapt exercise programs to diverse groups to meet their unique needs. Developed in consultation with industry experts, the Certificate III in Fitness (Gym Instructor) blends face-to-face learning with practical training. Students will work with real clients to meet their goals in a fully equipped in campus gym.

This program is designed to take students' fitness careers to the next level as skilled personal trainers in the global sports and fitness sector. Students will learn how to build their brand, manage a small business and confidently train a range of clients in group or one-on-one sessions. Graduate with the ability to provide leadership to clients and staff, deal with unpredictable situations and deliver outstanding fitness solutions for a range of unique needs. Plus, students will work with real clients in a  campus gym or through their industry work experience and inspire them to meet their personal health and fitness goals.
