The International Foundation Year program will help candidates develop the subject-specific and English language skills required to allow them to thrive in a gaming or animation-related undergraduate degree at Teesside University.
Some of the benefits students will discover are:

- The annual ExpoTees event provides a platform for students to showcase their work and engage with industry leaders.
- Progression degrees offer optional work placement years for practical industry experience.
- Students gain both theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills, preparing them for diverse roles in the industry.
- Take part in industry competitions and events such as GameJam and Animex (the university’s annual international animation and games festival featuring experts from Rockstar, Pixar, Disney and Sony).
Students depending on their choice of progression degree may have the option to study their degree at the new Teesside University London campus.
