Bachelor of Science - Multidisciplinary Studies - Computer Science Education

The Computer Science Education concentration promotes and integrates computer science education in the K-12 environment. Students receive a strong foundation of educational skills and strategies, coupled with the broad knowledge needed to teach at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. This program provides access to a cutting-edge start on the pathway to a rewarding career in the classroom or a range of other professional/educational options. Students in licensure programs also engage in extensive clinical experiences in public schools for hands-on training, professional collaboration, and classroom management. The College of Education offers a wealth of on-campus, educational resources from the Virtual Learning Lab and the Jeffers Learning Resources Center, to the Millard Oakley Center. Nationally accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
