About Master of Arts (eca) - Graphic Design
The University of Edinburgh's program’s curriculum is student-led with an emphasis on independent learning. With tutorial guidance, students will negotiate and develop a program of study based on personal areas of research and practice, beside set projects particularly in the first 2 semesters to support and inform their line of inquiry. Students will initially focus on the research and development of a study proposal.
With support from Edinburgh's team of experienced tutors (all industry practitioners or researchers) students will be encouraged to expand on their preconceived ideas and let their findings dictate future development. Edinburgh expects students to engage in sophisticated design dialogue to push their ideas to their full potential. There will be a lot of debate and prototyping before any designs are taken into production.
