About Master of Science - Creative Writing
Based in the first United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization World City of Literature, this one-year, full-time taught Masters program is tailored towards students practice in either fiction or poetry.
There is a strong practical element to the program, helping students develop their creative skills through workshops, presenting their work for peer discussion, and hearing from guest writers and other professionals on the practicalities of life as a writer. Students will also sharpen their critical skills through seminars exploring the particulars of their chosen form and through option courses in literature, helping them move from theoretical considerations to practical applications. The program culminates with the publication of ‘From Arthur’s Seat’, an anthology of student work.
