Designed and created by legal educators with a wealth of professional experience, this double degree places a strong focus on experiential and case-based learning. When undertaking the legal component of the degree, students will find that Notre Dame’s small class sizes give them ample

opportunity to engage in spirited debate and discussion.

Furthermore, students are also encourage students to participate in the Mentorship Program. Assisting with their professional growth and the evaluation of their plans and decisions,  mentors include highly- respected partners from firms such as Carroll & O’Dea, Manning Lawyers, and Makinson d’Apice, as well as professionals from the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and the Fair Work Ombudsman.

Similarly, the inclusion of a Business Internship in the Commerce component of the degree forms yet another opportunity for students to implement the skills they have learned at The University of Notre Dame Australia in a real working context. Beginning with seminars in career planning and professional development, as well as presentations from industry leaders, students can undertake their placement in such organizations as the Commonwealth Bank, the New South Wales Parliament and the Nine Network.
