Master of Business Information Systems (098257J)

A Master of Business Information Systems degree teaches students to connect people, data and technology for the greater good of an organization. This course emphasizes practical skills, so students can enter the business world as a confident all-rounder prepared to be the effective link between the information technology specialists and the key decision-makers in any organization.

This course takes an interdisciplinary approach to further developing students' business acumen. Students will immerse themselves in theory to meet the changing business environments in which they aspire to work and manage, with the skills and knowledge to critically analyze core business functions, implement strategic processes, manage risk and lead complex teams. The course has core and elective units comprising data management, systems analysis and design, requirements engineering, micro services architecture, ethical decision making and strategic planning. Students can enter or exit the degree via the Graduate Diploma of Business Information Systems.
