Bachelor of Social Work (ROJ)

Social work is a career that is both challenging and highly rewarding. Trent University’s multifaceted approach to this field provides students with opportunities to broaden their perspectives and skills in important areas of study including anti-oppression, diversity, equity, and social justice. Learn firsthand how to work collectively with and advocate on behalf of marginalized populations with complex needs, while developing a strong foundation of clinical knowledge, critical thinking, and social responsibility. Students who excel in the first two years of this program apply to move into the competitive professional (third and fourth) years where they will further explore and apply critical social work theory through direct practice with individuals and communities.
