Program Description
Canada is a bilingual country and French is spoken all around the world. Students can immerse themselves in French, French Canadian, and Francophone literatures and cultures. From the specialization in Quebec Studies to the single-major Honours program, Trent University provides a complete selection of French Studies degrees at the undergraduate level. This program offers opportunities for all levels of learners; whether students are at a beginner level, or coming from Core French or Immersion, they will be placed in the class that is right for them. As students progress, they will explore great works of literature in their original language, and learn about the arts and cultures of the Francophonie.
