Bachelor of Arts - Linguistics - Bible Translation

Tyndale’s Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics can lead students to a life of adventure, exploration and fighting for social justice. They will work closely with professors who will deepen their understanding of different cultures, giving them a head start, no matter where they choose to go. They will study aspects of language such as phonetics, syntax and semantics. They will also learn how to use these tools to provide practical research and services to benefit minority language speakers worldwide. Students will be prepared for a future career that can take them anywhere in the world.

The Concentration in Bible Translation will equip students to build upon the BA in Linguistics, preparing them to pursue Bible translation as a vocation. Students will study aspects of language such as phonetics, syntax and semantics. They'll also  learn how to use these tools to provide practical research and services to benefit minority language speakers worldwide.
