Master of Architecture - (ARB/RIBA Part 2) MArch

Emphasising design as a research practice, this MArch course challenges students to use their cross-disciplinary skills and knowledge to develop effective strategies and models for sustainable practice.

This may be within the context of the production of buildings, the spaces between them or the urban contexts in which they occur. 

On this course, students consolidate their architectural experiences, both in education and in practice, while simultaneously questioning their preconceptions of the discipline. 

By the end, students will be equipped to adopt a critical position within the profession and in wider society. They will also be able to initiate and deliver projects grounded in design-based research, and continue a process of learning through practice-based experimentation and enquiry.

The course carries full and unconditional prescription from the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Architects Registration Board (ARB) as satisfying the Part 2 criteria.
