Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Fashion Atelier & Tailoring with Professional Practice Year

Create beautiful bespoke, hand-crafted fashion and prepare for work at the highest levels of the industry on this specialist BA (Hons) Fashion Atelier & Tailoring degree course, taught at UCA Epsom.    

These fashion courses have an international reputation for producing talented graduates, and as the only one if its kind, this unique course will give students the technical skills, individual fashion language and confidence to create extraordinary work.  

They will learn specialist draping, creative pattern-cutting, machine and hand-sewing techniques as part of their study of atelier principles and processes. As well as bespoke tailoring and the couture approach to ‘soft’ sewing, they will also embrace new technologies, including digital 3D fashion.   

Recent graduates have gone on to work at Craig Green, Victoria Beckham, Vivienne Westwood, Huntsman, Norton's & Sons, Burberry and Roland Mouret to name a few. And with guidance from UCA's highly skilled staff and visiting practitioners, plus industry placements, professional portfolio development and opportunities to showcase their work, students will have everything they need to pursue their own ambitions with confidence.
