Bachelor of Arts - Visual Effects (with Professional Practice Year)

Begin your journey to becoming a highly skilled visual effects artist and innovator across films, TV programmes and commercials on our exciting BA (Hons) Visual Effects degree course at UCA Farnham.

On this course, student will gain an in-depth working knowledge of a range of computer graphics techniques and methodologies used in the production of high-end film and television, and visual effects production pipelines.

Students will build an individual style to take with them as they build their technical skills, learn about client briefs and requirements as they discover  their role as an emerging VFX professional, and undertake trips to major international centres of Visual Effects to prepare for your career in the industry.

University will teach students how to effectively use industry-relevant software tools that drive the production of film, television, game, and creative technology experiences, while also developing a language for criticality and creative expression.
