Master of Science - Game Engineering

The MSc Game Engineering course aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to engage in advanced games development. Students will have the opportunity to expand upon their previous technical studies, whether in a technical games subject or another relevant technical discipline, in order to create intricate game outputs.

Throughout the course, students will delve into various aspects of 3D graphics, such as modeling, rigging, and animation, utilizing contemporary tools. Additionally, they will explore AI and machine learning, which are commonly employed in games to enhance gameplay, features, and virtual worlds.

By utilizing Unity and Unreal Engine, students will embark on the journey of game creation, culminating in their final major project. Throughout this process, they will receive support from a combination of academic experts and industry professionals. Furthermore, students will have the opportunity to acquire real-world skills beyond the confines of the classroom through networking, placements, and competitions. These include esteemed events such as Pocket Gamer, Guildford Games Festival, London Games Festival, Rezzed, EGX, and Medway Rapture Experience.
