About Master of Science - Chemistry - (Non-Thesis)
Chemistry is one of the leading graduate degree programs at the University of Akron and this program collaborates closely with other departments including Polymer Science, Engineering, and Biology. The graduate program also invites postdoctoral and other visiting scientists, from around the country and the world. The faculty consists of 13 tenured and tenure-track faculty, and many adjunct faculty from other departments and from off-campus contribute significantly to graduate level activities.
University of Akron’s graduate education strives to prepare students to be independent researchers and expose them to advanced instrumentation and coursework that strengthens communication skills.
