Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - International Relations with German (L2R2))

This diverse programme allows students to combine the study of German with International Relations.

In a world of growing interdependence, the need for a wider understanding of international affairs becomes more crucial every day. The International Relations with German BA allows students to combine study of a modern language with international relations, which is itself interdisciplinary and covers such topics as politics, economics and the diplomatic history of the 20th century.

The third year is spent studying at a European university. Students spend one third of their time in language studies two thirds taking courses in international relations. When students return to the University of Birmingham for the fourth year students will study advanced courses in their language and in international affairs.
