The International Foundation Year is the ideal course for international students looking to enhance their academic and English language skills. It also prepares students for their studies at the University of Bradford.
Students will enroll in this course for one year and upon successful completion, they will receive a level 3 award and can then advance to the first year of their chosen university degree program.
Throughout the International Foundation Year, students will:
- Attend classes on the university campus
- Have access to all university amenities and student perks
The 3-year BEng (Hons) Biomedical Engineering degree program offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes subjects such as:
- Rehabilitation engineering, focusing on prosthetic and orthotic devices
- Biomaterials and implant design
- Tissue engineering and wound repair for artificial organs
- Genomic coding and genetic engineering
- Medical technology design and manufacturing
All instruction is based on the latest research and is provided by experienced medical engineers and clinical scientists. Additionally, students will benefit from insights from industry leaders and gain hands-on experience in the university’s cutting-edge engineering laboratories.
