Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Sport and Exercise Science (C600)

Sport and exercise scientists utilize their knowledge of how the human body responds to physical activity, exercise, and training to enhance performance and improve health.

The Sport and Exercise Science degree program offered by the university was among the first in the UK and provides extensive practical experience in BASES-accredited laboratories, working with clients and on placement opportunities. Students will develop a comprehensive understanding of physiology, psychology, anatomy, and biomechanics, and learn how to apply this knowledge in real-world scenarios.

Upon completion of the first year, students have the option to select a specialized subject that complements their degree or continue with the broader sport and exercise science curriculum.
