Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Biological Sciences (with Integrated Foundation Year) (C121)

Biological Sciences offers opportunities in the sciences for individuals who do not meet the required qualifications for direct entry into the BSc(Hons), are looking to change careers, or are returning to study.

The foundation year provides the necessary support, knowledge, and skills. Upon successful completion of the foundation year, students can progress to the accredited Biological Sciences BSc(Hons).

The focus is on hands-on learning, with exploration of biological systems at various levels. Students will gain skills in specialized labs for ecology, microbiology, molecular biology, and tissue culture.

Fieldwork opportunities will enhance practical skills, and students can participate in research projects. Optional field trip destinations include South Africa and the Mediterranean.
