The Pre-Master’s course presents an excellent opportunity for students to join the postgraduate courses. At the end of their study, students will achieve competencies in the English language and academic skills needed to succeed in the Level 7 Master’s course.
The Pre-Master’s is specifically designed for international students who need some form of improvement in their qualifications to meet the entry requirements for the postgraduate courses. It is also suitable for students changing their direction of study.
This MSc course in Banking and Finance will enhance students' professional skills and employability in the banking and finance sector.
The Professional Placement MSc is a win-win for a student's career, giving them the chance to get real experience, apply their cutting-edge skills in the workplace and stand out to future employers.
In the first year, students will have help from the University to find a placement, whilst developing their expertise. Students will then spend their second year out in industry on placement, getting the chance to work with industry professionals and grow their network of industry contacts. Bringing the latest business school insights to industry, they will get to make a difference to the workplace and make lasting links with their employer.
Students need to find and secure their own placement, supported by the University. A preparation module will also help students to get ready for their placement.
