Bachelor of Science - Dance Science (W5C6)

The Bachelor of Science in Dance Science use scientific research approaches combined with personal practice to examine what happens to human body and minds when people dance. If candidates have a passion for dance, are curious about how human bodies and minds work when dancing and how to make the most of their dancing potential, then this course is ideal for them.

This course develops students' understanding of the physiology, psychology, and biomechanics involved in dance, as they use this knowledge to help improve performance potential, reduce injury risk, and enhance the wellbeing of both them and anyone who dances.

Dance science looks at all dance participants including elite performers, dancers in training, people who dance as a hobby, and populations with specific health conditions.
