Integrated Masters - Master of Arts (Honours) - Environmental Science and Geography

Analyze and understand major challenges facing the world, and develop creative skills in problem-solving, presentation, and communication. The MA version of this course also allows students to study modules from other subjects such as History, English, Philosophy, and Politics. Students will focus on topical and relevant issues such as climate change, pollution of land and water and the management of natural resources.

In Environmental Science, students will gain the knowledge and skills to help build a cleaner future and address the large-scale challenges facing human existence on earth. In Geography students will study both social and physical sciences across three broad themes: creating just communities and places, shaping environmental futures, and geospatial and digital methods.

Students will also have the opportunity to go on field trips, and to work with partner organizations to help them solve problems that they are currently facing.
