Master of Science - Animation and VFX

This University of Dundee course will support students to learn the creative and technical skills they need to work in the animation and visual effects industry. This course mixes creative and critical thinking, and will develop their technical skill-set using industry-standard software.

What sets this course apart from others is how industry-facing it is. Students will work as part of a team on a live project to a targeted brief set by a professional client, learn professional production animation and VFX pipelines, and receive feedback on their work from professionals. Students will also develop a narrative-based film, showreel, or breakdown reel as part of their final submission.
