Program Description

University of Findlay’s Multi-Age Education Program will prepare students for a career in teaching multi-age students with the ability to double major in education and Japanese. Classwork is comprised of multi-age education core courses and Japanese specialization courses. The education core focuses teaching methodologies and practices for teaching subject matter. The Japanese course requirements involve taking four years of Japanese language courses as well as a language acquisition course and a Japanese culture course. Findlay students benefit from field experiences outside campus beginning in their first year. Over four years of courses, students engage in over 1000 hours of fieldwork with exposure to a  variety of districts and classrooms.
