Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Physical Education with Integrated Foundation (C619)

The Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with Integrated Foundation has a clear focus – the University of Gloucestershire wants students to think beyond the traditional physical education (PE) curriculum and to become agents of change in the environments they go on to work in. While traditional activities are integral to the Physical Education curriculum, they don’t suit everyone, so the University have scope for more inclusive, innovative and challenging activities to be considered within the school environment.

The University will help graduates develop knowledge and understanding in a range of activities, both traditional and non-traditional. They will develop interest in both primary and secondary Physical Education to allow them to become a teacher, leader and educator for the future – who inspires young people to participate in Physical Education, physical activity and sport. Throughout the course students will gain an in-depth understanding of a broad and varied range of topics based in theory and practice.
