The Bachelor of Arts in Film Production students at the University of Gloucestershire will make the films during this course to take the top prizes at the most highly regarded competitions. Recent successes include Sundance, Encounters, British Film Institute (BFI) New Talent and Aesthetica.
Filmmaking is about telling stories which is at the heart of this course. Graduates will learn how tell theirs using the latest industry-standard equipment and edit in state-of-the-art post-production facilities.
Students will be introduced to the key skills in directing, producing, screenwriting, cinematography, production design, sound and editing by collaborating as professional film crews. They will experience each role to discover where their passions lie.
