The Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Communications (Top-up) course is designed for those applicants who are studying for – or already have – a foundation degree, Higher National Diploma or Diploma of Higher Education and those who like to top this up to a full Bachelor of Arts in honors degree.
Students will further develop their journalism and communications skills under the University of Gloucestershire's expert teaching team. They’ve worked for national and international media organizations – including the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), Independent Television (ITV), The Athletic, The Sunday Times and magazine publisher Bauer Media.
This degree is a practical course which aims to produce work-ready graduates who have the skills, knowledge and confidence to forge a successful career in the media industry. Students from the University's journalism subject community have gone on to work for employers including Sky, Vice, The Telegraph, , as well as a number of Public Relations and communications agencies and leading sports clubs.
