About Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) - Chemical Engineering (H800)
The BEng (Hons) Chemical Engineering degree explores a range of topics relevant to cutting-edge research, new technologies and emerging growth areas in chemical engineering. These topics include engineering science, particle technology, management, pharmaceutical development and bioengineering.
With the skills of a professional engineer, students will be equipped to enter careers in the chemical and process engineering, pharmaceutical, and food and beverage industries.
This undergraduate course has been designed in consultation with the IChemE and leading companies. The University of Greenwich's hands-on teaching approach is central to the educational experience at the Faculty of Engineering and Science.
Students go to a range of companies and organizations of varying sizes for their placements, including large multi-national firms, government agencies, the NHS and small to medium sized companies engaged in research, analytical services and manufacturing.
