About 2-Term First Year Pathway in Life and Medical Sciences - Continue to Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Sports Studies

Program Description

HIC offers University First Year studies for candidates who do not meet the direct entry criteria or hold high school qualifications that are not recognised. Upon successful completion of the pathway programme students will progress onto the second year of their University of Hertfordshire progression degree.

This course covers three specific themes: sports coaching, sports development and sports management, which build in breadth and depth as students progress. They’ll study a range of subjects that impact on sports participation and performance, including an introduction to sports science and sociology of sport. During your studies they’ll benefit from some of the best university sports facilities in the UK, and take part in coaching and other work experience opportunities. This work-related experience combined with academic and focus on communication skills will enhance their career prospects.
