2-Term Undergraduate Foundation Pathway in Education - Continue to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Early Childhood Education

Program Description

HIC offers University Foundation Studies for candidates who do not meet the direct entry criteria or hold high school qualifications that are not recognised. Upon successful completion of the pathway programme students will progress onto the University of Hertfordshire.

This programme will be for students if they would like to become a graduate practitioner in the early childhood sector or if they have an interest in working with children and families. The programme focuses on young children’s education, development and care from conception to the age of 7 years. Students will have the opportunity to become confident, self-aware, reflective graduates able to operate as professionals in multi-agency contexts. The programme content draws on international research and practice, including global perspectives of children, different early childhood curricula and established, as well as emerging, theory.
