Program Description

At the postgraduate level, HIC provides the highly acclaimed Pre-Master's programme leading to an excellent range of University of Hertfordshire Master programmes in business and management, computing, engineering & design and arts. After successfully completing the programme students will advance to their chosen progression degree. 

The MA Animation degree allows students to develop their 2D or 3D Digital Animation skills and knowledge to a more advanced level.

Students will produce a personal portfolio which in approach, style and vision looks to the forefront of current practices.

The course allows students to extend their theoretical and contextual understanding of animation, its audiences and media culture.

Students will become familiar with professional-level enquiry, research, creative invention, project planning and management practices.

The course is taught within a multi-disciplinary environment of discussion and exploration of ideas.
