About Pre-sessional English
Program Description
This course is for students who need to increase their current level of English (IELTS score). Join the Pre-sessional English Programme on the appropriate route. This will be students' pathway to entry onto their chosen degree programme.
Three different routes are available base on the required IELTS score for students' desired progression degree: Standard route; Higher route; and Advanced route. Students can expect to increase their current score by either 0.5 during the 6 week programme, or 1 during the 12 week programme.
These courses help students to develop their academic language and study skills so that they can study effectively at either undergraduate or postgraduate level. Successful completion of the course means that they will not need to take another IELTS exam.

Note: This program can only be applied to in combination with an academic program for the purpose of obtaining language-specific conditional admission. Any applications submitted to these programs without an accompanying academic program will result in cancellation.
